This lamp is made of a wooden rectangular box punctured by a structured network of holes.

These are shaped following a traditional japanese pattern who dissolves as it approaches the luminous point to create a visual balance between light and shadow.

It creates a dialectic between the ordered geometry of pattern and volume at one side and the deconstructed shape of the drillings at the other side.
